Welcome, Kelly!

We’re proud to welcome Kelly Pratt as a part of Enrichmond’s team. She has been volunteering at Historic Evergreen Cemetery and now joins us to develop the family services and genealogical research side of Evergreen and East End Cemeteries.
More about Kelly:
Kelly Pratt is an AmeriCorps Alumni who received the “Above and Beyond” award for completing the most service hours to-date: 2004 hours. Over 200 of those hours she spent at Evergreen Cemetery working on a records’ database and cleaning up on-site. Kelly’s mission is to restore the lost history and culture of Evergreen and East End’s friends and families by facilitating a systematic and comprehensive inventory of all existing markers, memorials, and monuments in the cemeteries. Her degree in Multimedia and Information Technology from ITT Technical Institute provides the foundation needed to create a searchable database for the cemeteries, allowing family members to reconnect with loved ones located at the Evergreen and East End cemeteries.
Kelly grew up in Virginia and has lived in various other states such as Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and New Mexico. She also has studied and lived internationally, spending a summer in Japan and five years in China. In her free time, she enjoys studying Mandarin Chinese, listening to audiobooks, and playing video games with her family. Kelly has a love of learning and is always open to new experiences and new opportunities to learn.
