Friends of Scuffletown Park
Scuffletown Park was built by the City of Richmond and dedicated on September 14, 1974 as a pocket park located in the core area behind the buildings on Park Avenue, Strawberry Street, Stafford Avenue and Stuart Avenue. Friends of Scuffletown Park – all volunteers – organized themselves as a grass-roots organization in the summer of 1999 with its mission to revitalize the park. We’ve raised funds necessary for the renewal of the space and worked collaboratively with the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Facilities. The support of neighbors, The Enrichmond Foundation, and local civic and business associations including the Fan District Association, the Second District Councilman, and City of Richmond have resulted in a greenspace which is used and enjoyed by people throughout the Fan District. Your donation to Scuffletown Park will go towards the beautification, upkeep and maintenance of this lovely space.
