Enrichmond First Fridays Exhibit
In celebration of its 25th Anniversary, the Enrichmond Foundation has curated a special photography exhibit, “Seeing Green: Richmond’s Historic Outdoor Spaces”, opening on August’s First Friday at Gallery5. This exhibit, featuring photographs from the Valentine Museum’s collection, explores historic views of Richmond’s public parks. Join us upstairs at Gallery5 on August 7th and see how familiar green spaces looked in past eras. This exhibit will be on display through August 29th.
Since 1990, Enrichmond Foundation has supported the Richmond’s Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts through citizen involvement, education, and fundraising. It serves as a non-profit umbrella organization for volunteer groups, outdoor enthusiasts, cultural arts associations and other citizen groups. These “Friend” groups help to maintain, restore, preserve, and improve Richmond’s public recreational resources. Enrichmond enables Richmond’s citizens to give back to their communities, lending their voices, time, and talents to Richmond’s dynamic public story.
