COVID-19 Update from Enrichmond
Published on March 17th, 2020 by Jess Maffey
UPDATE 3/27/2020: Our office is taking precautions against the spread of COVID-19. Our office staff is currently working from home and prioritizing taking meetings over the phone. We are monitoring State and local guidelines intently and hope to return to the office as soon as possible. We will continue to update this status. Thank you!
Enrichmond intends to navigate the evolving situation with the COVID-19 virus from a position that protects our staff and the communities we serve. Therefore-
Starting Monday, March 16th:
1. Enrichmond staff will begin working remotely for a two week period. All work will continue, checks will be processed, invoices paid, and all staff will be available to serve to the best of our ability.
2. All group volunteer activities run by Enrichmond or held on properties that Enrichmond stewards will be suspended until further notice. This will be in effect at Historic Evergreen and East End Cemeteries and TreeLab. We are following this guidance given by HandsOn Greater Richmond to protect the safety of our volunteers.
Note: The community groups Enrichmond serves are encouraged to take similar precautions regarding their programming.
We know this will not be easy on our customers and supporters. But we feel strongly that the wellbeing of our neighbors who are most vulnerable at this time deserve our support. Thank you for your understanding.
